Directives for Visa on Arrival for Bangladesh

Documents to be submitted for Visa:
1. Visa Application Form
2. Original passport, two copies of passport with permanent registration address
3. 3 (three) recent photographs (size: 30 mm х 40 mm) of the applicant
4. Visa fee (in cash)
5. Invitation letter or Reservation letter
6. Covid Certificate in English issued not more than 72 hrs (during pandemic only)
7. Paid of visa fee is non-refundable.
Length of Visa Processing: from 2 to 4 working days depending on the nationality
Validation– 4 USD per page
NVR Receipt (No Visa Required) – 50 USD.
*Payment is made by cash only.
Particular Instructions:
A. Business Visa
1) Invitation letter from Bangladeshi Company;
2) Letter from the company of the invitee;
3) One copy of visa form duly filled in & 2 passport size color photos (3cm x 4cm);
4) Copy of International passport (only the pages containing particulars of the holder).
B. Family/ Relative/ Tourist Visa
1) Invitation letter from relatives in Bangladesh/proof of relations;
2) Hotel booking, copy of air ticket or flight itinerary copy of ticket;
3) One copy of visa form duly filled in & 2 passport size color photos (3cm x 4cm);
4) Copy of International passport (only the pages containing particulars of the holder).
C. Employment/ A3 Type Visa
1) Job appointment letter from Bangladeshi company/ representative office in Bangladesh in case of the International organization;
2) Job appointment letter from the Headquarters of the International organization;
3) Clearance from the concerned Ministry/ Authority/ Organization of Bangladesh;
4) One copy of visa form duly filled in & 2 passport size color photos (3cm x 4cm);
5) Copy of International passport (Only the pages containing particulars of the holder).
D. No Visa Required (NVR)
1) In case of Bangladeshi citizen or person of Bangladesh origin, Bangladesh passport/copy of Bangladesh passport/dual nationality certificate/SSC or HSC certificate/birth certificate or nationality certificate from Union Parishad/ Pourashava/ City Corporation/certificate from Special Branch of Police;
2) In case of spouse, marriage certificate and husband’s Bangladesh passport/copy of Bangladesh passport/dual nationality certificate/SSC or HSC certificate/birth certificate or nationality certificate from Union Parishad/ Pourashava/ City Corporation/ certificate from Special Branch of Police;
3) In case of children, married certificate of parents and birth certificate of applicant and father or mother’s Bangladesh passport/copy of Bangladesh passport/dual nationality certificate/SSC or HSC certificate/birth certificate or nationality certificate from Union Parishad/ Pourashava/ City Corporation/certificate from Special Branch of Police;
4) One copy of visa form duly filled in & 2 passport size color photos (3cm x 4cm);
5) Copy of International passport (only the pages containing particulars of the holder).
